Do Not Despise Small Beginnings

October 1, 2017

The title is taken from the Bible . Zechariah 4:10 states we should not despise for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin. Why is it we despise small beginnings? If we look a little closer , there are 3 things to note that I chose to share.

1. Something beats nothing ... you have to start somewhere. The foundation is the most important part , therefore more care is taken at the beginning.

2. Strength is built during beginnings ... have you ever tried to exercise full force , only to realize you need baby steps first ? Well we all must develop strength to endure our new tasks and levels. Your strength to adjust, adapt or survive will determine your success. Strength is hard to break down once built up so just think of it as power with interest.

3. You're off the bench... every person has a should have , would have , could have dilemma at some point. Some will never do anything. You're in the game. And being in the game means you have a chance. Those that choose to sit will never know because they won't move. You are in motion ... celebrate !

Small things have the potential for growth. Growth is a part of life. We must learn to rejoice instead of dreading the start. When our mindset changes , so do the results.

Peace and blessings,

Paula
